In the Pittsburgh area, other than the traditional Halloween parties and social events, the city is preparing itself for the 1st Annual Lambda Ball, to be held on Saturday, November 7th in the Grand Ballroom of the Pittsburgh Hilton Hotel. The $30 ticket fee includes the before dinner cocktail, dinner, entertainment and dancing. Proceeds earned from this benefit will go to the Lamb-

da Foundation. For further details, call (412) 441-0857. All those planning to visit Pittsburgh for this event should consider making their reservations and travel arrangements as soon as possible.

On October 13th, the Lambda Foundation sponsored the Mr. Pittsburgh Pageant and show at ZACK'S. Congratulations are in order for Scott Calhoun, the winner! All the contestants were great, and everyone had a terrific time.

The Jane Street Band will be at PARADISE COVE (in Schenley) on October 24th. Plus on the 30th, the Cove will present their 1st "all male" review, featuring music from the thirties to the eighties.
